The Chattanooga I-O Psychology group was developed by I-O Psychology graduate students at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychology is the scientific study of employees, workplaces, and organizations. I-O endeavors include improving workplace performance through selection and recruitment, groups and teams, training and development, organizational development, leadership, strategic human resources, and applied scientific methods.
Our Mission Statement: The Chattanooga Industrial and Organizational Psychology group (CHAIOP) is a network of students, professionals and academics with similar educational and professional interests in Chattanooga, TN. The purpose of this group is to strengthen the connection of local I-O psychologists in the Chattanooga area. CHAIOP organizes and hosts educational and social events for members to meet, network, and gain knowledge about the scientific and applied sides of the field.
